What can we define socially useful?

Climbers may see it differently! Beauty, adventure, fear, mind games … to each their own!

Socialmente Inutile (Socially Useless) is a multi-pitch route in Val Masino, first opened in the late ‘90s in aid climbing, then freed by Simone Pedeferri in 2003. Luca Schiera made the second free ascent on 25th May 2021.

The route is hard (up to 8b / 6c E7) and its poorly protected, mostly through light aid-climbing gear.
